SCOTTISH SPEEDFAIR
KNOCKHILL 7/8 JUNE 2008

The BHCR stand at the Scottish Speedfair enjoyed a large number of visitors over the two days.

A good number of new members were signed up and sales of club merchandise exceeded all expectations.

It was great to meet old friends and make new ones and our visitors came from as far apart as Bo'ness and Australia. They all had the same message for us; it is great news that Speed Hill Climbing is returning to Bo'ness after a break of 42 years!
Our sincere thanks to everybody who visited the stand. Your messages of support were much appreciated and we look forward to welcoming you all to the Bo'ness Hillclimb Revival Meeting on August 9/10.

Bo'ness is all about old cars and who better to drive them than old drivers? From the left this motley crew consists of Jim Campbell, Tom MacMillan, Kenny Allen, Harry Simpson, Jimmy Crow and Tom Wilson.
The ex-works Aston Martin Ulster Le Mans team car (LM19) of Martyn Campbell graces the BHCR stand. This car has now been raced by 3 generations of Campbells. Formerly owned by John Campbell it then passed to his son Jim, a former Scottish Hill Climb Champion and then to his son Martyn who made his debut in the car at Forrestburn last year.
