BHCR
Bo'ness Hill Climb Revival
OUR THANKS

BHCR has enjoyed the support of many businesses and organisations from the the very first Re-union back in May 2007. Now we like to think of them more as partners than sponsors.

Falkirk Council - www.falkirk.gov.uk
The re-opening of the old hill at Kinneil would just not have been possible without the support we have received from Falkirk Council. Provost Pat Reid re-opened the hill in 2008 with Dr. Mirrlees Chassels and continues to be a keen supporter. He attended our press launch and was present at the opening this year.

The support we receive from the Council's Events Team still continues to amaze us; nothing is too much trouble for them.

Mactaggart & Mickel - www.macmic.co.uk
The support we have always received from Mactaggart & Mickel is superb. They assist us with setting up the hill for the event and removing all the fencing and barriers afterwards.

Bentley Motors (1931) Limited - www.bentleymotors1931ltd.com
Fraser Ewart is a strong supporter of BHCR. He shares a trade stand with his friend Ross McLeod (see below), supplies the course car, recovery vehicle and this year had BHCR stickers made which sold extremely well on the BHCR stand. Not content with the above he also competes in the hill climb sharing his Bentley Special with his wife Nita.

Mulsanne Motors Limited
Ross MacLeod has always shared a stand with Fraser Ewart just as they share a passion for Bentleys. It would be very difficult to find more suitable company names for the companies of two died-in-the-wool Bentley enthusiasts! Ross competes in an MG Midget which he shares with his wife Sally.

Ecosse Classic Wedding Cars www.ecosseclassiccars.co.uk
John Wyatt and Gareth Ware have a passion for classic cars and not only take a trade stand at Bo'ness but also compete in their gaggle of Saabs. Their stand always has some fabulous classics on display, some ideal for your wedding day and some more suited to competition.

Tillicoultry Quarries - www.tillicoultryquarries.com
Tillicoultry Quarries supplied the materials we required for the new roads and drainage in the paddock. Managing Director Wallace Menzies competes in the British Hill Climb Championship but we hope to entice him to compete at Bo'ness next year.

Lothian Car Club (Edinburgh) Limited www.dounehillclimb.co.uk

The Lothian Car Club continues to be a very strong partner of BHCR, supplying us with all the equipment we require to run the hill. Everything from brushes to radios, fire extinguishers to red flags. Be sure to visit their Doune Hill Climb next year in April, June and September.

Our Marshals and all Officials
The marshals are such an essential element of our sport as our all our officials who have embraced the revival of Bo'ness Hill Climb with such enthusiasm.

The Rescue Units are supplied by Castle (Motorsport) Safety Services.

Ballantine Bo'ness Iron Company Limited - www.creativeironworks.co.uk
Managing Director Ian Ballantine has supported BHCR from the first Revival Meeting. The company is a major employer in the area with over 100 employees. Ian's father Harry Ballantine was also a well known Scottish racing driver and competed at Bo'ness with his Marcos GT in the 60's

Bo'ness Motor Museum
www.motor-museum.bo-ness.org.uk
Colin Anderson has been a great supporter of BHCR in a number of ways and supplied the beer tent for the 2008 and 2008 Revival Meetings as well as first class hospitality for our guests.

The 3rd Bo'ness Scout Group
The 3rd Bo'ness Scout Group led by Kenny Noble and his assistant leaders looked after ticket and programme sales for the Revival Meeting. They were kept extremely busy over the weekend but on Sunday evening they were still smiling. One of the leaders even found time to take some food and drink up to our marshals in the Holding Paddock!

Barbara Davidson Pottery, Larbert
www.barbara-davidson.com
Barbara Davidson and Brian McLuckie celebrated the 40th Anniversary of their well known pottery this year. They also helped to start a new range of BHCR club merchandise with the introduction of a club mug (no jokes or suggestions please) in white china with the club logo.

Residents of the Duchess Anne Cottages - Kinneil Estate
The residents of Kinneil Estate continue to show us courtesy, patience and encouragement during the Revival Meeting.

Bo'ness Community Council - www.bonesscc.org.uk
Convener Madelene Hunt visits us every year and always has a word of encouragement and appreciation for the Revival Meeting.

Central Scotland Police - www.centralscotland.police.uk

Sergeant Keith Jack and his team of officers were a great help to our organising committee and gave us great support over the weekend, and always with a smile.
Friends of Kinneil - kinneil.wordpress.com/friends
Our thanks to the Friends of Kinneil for their continued tolerance.
