We are pleased to announce that former Scottish Hill Climb Champion Douglas Thomson has joined the BHCR committee. Dougie won the 1974 Scottish Hill Climb Championship in his ex-Roger Williamson GRD 273 and he competed in a variety of cars between 1965 and 1980 including the Ecosse Imp. He also circuit raced the GRD and also the ex-David Purley Chevron B27 F2.He is a died-in-the-wool motor sport enthusiast and is a very welcome addition to our committee. His brother Alan won the SHC in 1975 and 1976.
