WEATHER CHECK
This magnificent John Crae shot of Basil Davenport's Spider was not taken in the 1920's when it first competed, but at the 2008 Revival Meeting! David Leigh's spirited performance in the wet was one of the highlights of the weekend and this photograph captures the spirit of Bo'ness so well.
Revival Meeting

The first Bo'ness Revival meeting proved to be a great success given that the club had just over two months to get the event up and running. The horrendous weather conditions did not help. The FEEDBACK page shows just how much people enjoyed the return of speed hill climbing to Bo'ness.

With this great wave of support and encouragement the club is already starting to plan the 2009 Revival Meeting and will shortly be having meetings with the relevant authorities. The intention is to lengthen the track to 650 yards which will almost double the existing length. Drivers discovered that the hill is not just as simple as they first thought and in fact it is quite a technical course. The increase in length will make it even more exciting for both driver and spectator. We will also be carefully considering increasing the spectator areas to provide better viewing areas.

Updates on the planning for 2009 will appear on this website.
