2010 Bo'ness Classic Car and Motor Cycle Show

sponsored by

We are pleased to announce that the Edinburgh law firm Shepherd and Wedderburn have agreed to sponsor the 2010 Classic Car and Motor Cycle Show. www.shepwedd.co.uk

Information packs and entry forms are now available for download. Clubs who exhibited last year will automatically receive them as will anybody who has contacted Tom MacMillan recently. If your club has not yet exhibited at Bo'ness but would like to be a part of this classic show which gets bigger and better every year, send in the downloadable entry form. If you have any questions email tom@bonesshillclimb.org.uk

There will be show awards presented by                                                 as follows:

So we confidently expect that there will be a general increase in the standard of all displays. This in turn will make the show more enjoyable for everybody, both exhibitors and members of the public. Once again there will be no entry fee for exhibitors.

Avro Vulcan Bomber XH588 to appear at Bo'ness Hill Climb Revival!!

We promised you more special attractions this year and there can be few attractions more special than this! The last flying Avro Vulcan in the world will perform a flypast at Bo'ness Hill Climb Revival in September. We still have to finalise which day but Sunday is probably the most likely. Final details will appear here first. As always of course this is subject to weather and aircraft serviceability. This is a major coup for BHCR and for Bo'ness and follows on from the Battle of Britain Memorial Flight flypast from 2009. This is a special year for this wonderful aircraft since it celebrates its 50th birthday so come along to the Revival meeting and enjoy it with us.

It is worth visiting You Tube to get an idea of what the Vulcan is like on video. Now you can see what it is like for real at Bo'ness!!

For full details of the Vulcan please visit http://www.site.vulcantothesky.org

Extract from the Vulcan to the Sky Trust website. The last sentence bears more than a passing similarity to BHCR except for maybe a big bit of paranoia!

14 years after its last flight & with over £7million spent, Vulcan XH558 roared into the air again on Thursday 18thOctober 2007, a perfect day for flying. An unforgettable day for the Vulcan to the Sky team. A great British project, owing its success to optimism, determination, teamwork and a little bit of paranoia!

BHCR on Tour

The BHCR stand attended the Scottish Classic Motorcycle Show at Fenwick and the Perth Motor Sport Show recently. We had a good number of visitors on both weekends so our thanks to everybody who dropped in. We now head for the Scottish Speedfair at Knockhill and the Glamis Extravaganza (Stand 130) in July.
